FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL

Ooh la la! Last Thursday evening I headed off to the finale of the French Film Festival.

With Champagne in hand and a sublime assortment of French cheese on offer, from creamy brie to aromatic blue, I had a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the company of like minded Francophiles.

What I love about this type of event, besides the Champagne, is catching up with friends for a great night out, meeting people who share my passion, and watching a movie, trying to understand as much French as I can whilst reading the sub-titles. No chance of nodding off!

Exploring life, and saying yes to the invitation meant that I had a beautifully rewarding experience immersed in another culture, even for just one night. Here’s to joie de vivre!
